Collecting 7 different coloured gems gives you an extra life plus an 100,000 bonus gem after the boss is defeated. Collecting these gems in the right order, from left to right on the gem counter, will give you an extra life and bonus gem PLUS access to a magical secret room. When you reach the end of a level a Silver Door appears. Just pass through it to find a Bonus gem and a special present. This means that don't have to fight the boss. To create a gem of the color you want you should know that the screen is divided into 7 zones with different colours. So carefully plan where to kill your enemies and you can control which colour your gem will have.
